Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Monday thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for approving ₹10,637 crore value highway and tunnel initiatives for the Union Territory.
The highway transport and highways ministry has authorized 19 mega highway and tunnel initiatives value ₹10,637 crore for Jammu and Kashmir.
These embrace the development of Peer-Ki-Gali tunnel, Sadhana tunnel, Zaznar-Shopian part of NH-701A, four-lane flyover from Lal Chowk to Parimpora, Trehgam Chamkote part of NH-701, four-lane Magam Flyover on Narbal-Gulmarg part and Qazigund Bypass.
“In a significant achievement, my authorities has bought ₹10,600 crore value of highway and tunnel initiatives authorized by the Union authorities. I’m grateful to PM Narendra Modi ji and MoRTH Minister Nitin Gadkari ji for his or her continued help as we attempt to steer J-Okay on a path of progress, growth and connectivity,” Abdullah posted on his private X deal with.
An identical message was posted on the official deal with of Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister.
Abdullah stated that the Jammu and Kashmir authorities will work in shut coordination with the highway transport and highways ministry to make sure well timed execution of those important infrastructure initiatives.
Earlier, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha additionally expressed his gratitude.
