Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge on Sunday launched a scathing assault at Prime Minister Narendra Modi over his Independence Day speech and referred to as him a “very harmful man” who ought to be faraway from energy.
Whereas addressing an opposition rally at Sasaram in Bihar, Kharge lashed out at PM Modi for praising the RSS throughout his speech from Purple Fort on Friday. Kharge stated that until the BJP is faraway from energy, the votes, rights and freedom of the individuals are not protected.
The Congress chief claimed that the RSS was towards the liberty of the nation and attacked the prime minister for lauding “such folks” from the Purple Fort.
“None of your folks went to jail (through the freedom wrestle)… They have been giving functions to Britishers for jobs. They stated that they’d stay with them (Britishers). If PM Modi is taking the names of such folks from the Purple Fort, then what would the souls of those that fought for our freedom be saying at this time?” Kharge stated.

“Lakhs of people that died for the liberty, what would their souls be saying? They’d be saying that there’s a one that is talking towards us. Issi liye mai kehta hun, ye bahut khatarnaak aadmi hai (That is why I say that this individual (PM Modi) is a really harmful man.) Except you take away him from energy, your votes, rights, freedom and even the Structure is not going to stay protected,” Kharge added.
He additional alleged that Prime Minister Modi is stealing away the votes of individuals, the roles of youths and the MSP of the farmers.
“PM Modi steals your votes, the roles of the youth, the MSP of farmers, and your rights. He’s a thief and it’s essential to take away that thief,” Kharge added.
