Delhi Police have arrested a person for allegedly raping his mom on two events within the Hauz Qazi space. The sufferer, who approached the police, mentioned she was made to take away her burqa, locked in a room and overwhelmed up by the son.
The 65-year-old alleged that her son claimed he was “punishing” her over suspicions of an extramarital affair many years in the past.
In accordance with the girl, she lives together with her retired authorities worker husband, the accused son, and a daughter in Hauz Qazi. Their elder daughter lives close by together with her in-laws.
Girl shares ordeal
On July 17, the girl, her husband, and youthful daughter travelled to Saudi Arabia for a non secular pilgrimage. Eight days later, whereas they have been nonetheless overseas, the accused allegedly started making repeated calls to his father, insisting the household return to Delhi.
“He mentioned that we should always come to Delhi as a result of he wished my husband to divorce me, claiming he had found that I had extramarital relationships with different males when he was a baby, earlier than his youthful sister was born, and when my husband used to journey for work,” the girl mentioned in her criticism.
The household returned on August 1. Upon arrival, the accused allegedly assaulted his mom. “He made me take away my burqa, locked me in a room and beat me up. He informed my husband that he had spoilt me,” the sufferer informed police, in line with an officer citing her assertion.
In accordance with police, the accused on August 11 informed members of the family that he wished to talk privately along with his mom. “He locked her within the room and raped her. He mentioned that he was punishing her for her earlier conduct whilst she pleaded that she was his mom,” the officer mentioned.
Frightened, the girl initially took shelter at her elder daughter’s house. She returned when the scenario worsened.
On August 14, the accused allegedly entered the room the place his mom was sleeping and raped her once more.
The next day, the girl confided in her youthful daughter, who urged her to strategy the police.
Police have registered a case below Part 64 (rape) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. The accused has since been arrested and an investigation is underway.
